Decision briefs & majority voting for off-meeting faculty decisions
1. Add faculty to the roster with a group (TPC, Consultants, Associates, Assistants — or your own).
2. Generate links, copy them, and send each person their line once. The link is their identity — no account, no password.
3. Write a brief, choose who's eligible and when it closes, open it. Eligible voters see it on their personal page immediately.
4. Close it (or let it expire). Results are computed and shown to voters.
A ballot can be cast once per link, only while the brief is open, only before the closing time by the server clock, and only by a link whose group is eligible. Nothing on the voter's device can change that.
In secret mode this page never shows who voted what, and results carry no names. The raw ballot rows do still exist in the database under the admin's access — a signed-in admin with console access could read them. Say this to voters if it matters.
